Watch the undeniable chemistry between Nomzamo Mbatha and her girl crush

Nomzamo Mbatha is undoubtedly the busiest starlet in South Africa, the media personality is having a fantastic 2017 and we are here for it.

We first met the beauty when she was a contestant on the MTV Base Presenter Search a few years ago and she has since managed to solidify herself as a powerhouse. Since coming onto the scene, Nomzamo has successfully and simultaneously dabbled in presenting, acting and fashion.

The media personality recently came back from hosting the 2017 BET International Awards in LA as well as the the Essence Festival in New Orleans and she is already on her way back to the US to host the BET International Glitz & Glam stage at the Black Girls Rock (BGR) honouree celebration in New Jersey.

"I am still buzzing from my BET Awards and Essence Festival hosting experiences, then this call came through from BET International. It's been a humbling period of Blessings. I couldn't say no, as BGR is an initiative that I've followed for almost 10 years now and I truly commend its founder, Beverly Bond's passion to honor and celebrate black girls (women) who are trailblazers in their various fields and social causes. One of the lessons I most treasure from my last US trip was to be surrounded by strong and successful women who embrace and celebrate each other. Women who congratulate each other with NO reservation as one BLACK GIRL's win is for all of us," said Mbatha in a statement.

At BGR Miss Mbatha will also be filming for BET A LIST, the weekly lifestyle show on BET Africa on which she's a presenter.

On Sunday, 6 August, Mbatha will travel to Philadelphia to attend the screening of her latest big screen feature in the Pan African film, A Hotel Called Memory. The film premieres at the 6th Annual Blackstar Film Festival.

"It was such an amazing experience to be part of this project. Having to portray and deliver the character, without my voice was a refreshing challenge to my skills and I loved being able to push myself. Of course working with Akin Omotoso, who gives you great direction and allows you to find yourself in the character," she said.

We promised to keep you posted on her journey this weekend so keep it locked to ZAlebs. #BlackGirlsRock
