She shared a lot about her life but did it in a way that kept us laughing the entire time

I remember my mother telling me about the first time she met Rami Chuene. She described her as a hilarious woman with an infectious positive energy but it wasn't until I met Rami myself that I understood exactly what my mom meant.

In late 2015, I was lucky enough to be invited to Enhle Mlotshwa's baby-shower themed SE Preggoz launch where Rami was invited to speak about pregnancy and motherhood and Rami had us all in stitches.

She did the same thing for Anele when she recently appeared on the media personality's talk show to let viewers in on her life and talk about her recently self-published book (titled We Kiss the Sun and Embrace the Moon) and album.

Rami kept the jokes coming and for the first time since the show started, Anele got so lost in her guest that she even snorted through her laughter. If they snort, you know it's funny!

Even when she discussed her rape at the hands of men she knew at age 6 and 8, her energy never faltered.

"I used to remember why I hated one ply toilet paper so much. I remember how I hated Vaseline. So may things that would remind me of... 'yeah, it's that thing that, that guy liked... like, you know?...'"

She also explained how, later in life, when she eventually came across the term 'virgin' and found out what it meant, she also instantly realized that it doesn't apply to her.

Among the many life stories she shared, she opened up about how actress and singer-turned-chef, Lucia Mthiyane helped her out in her hustle as a corporate singer by helping her get her start and often passing gigs her way by pretending to be too sick to perform before recommending that Rami stand in for her.

We cannot WAIT until she makes her debut as Mrs. Brutus Khoza on Mzansi Magic's The Queen.
