South Africa's fashion family made the long drive to Pretoria to celebrate the launch of Project Runway SA which debuts in a few weeks on Mzansi Magic.
Partygoers were also treated to a preview of the first episode of the show which will be hosted by former Live AMP presenter Lerato Kganyago and judged by a panel consisting of Noni Gasa, Gert Johan Coetzee and Rahim Rawjee.
Project Runway - the first project of Ndalo Media's new production arm - is an American reality television series which debuted back in 2004 that focuses on fashion design.
The show sees contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are restricted by time, materials and theme. Their designs are judged by a panel, and one or more designers are typically eliminated from the show each week.
During each season, contestants are progressively eliminated until only a few contestants remain. These finalists prepare a complete fashion collection for New York Fashion Week, which determines the winner.
The South African version will see contestants duke it out for a spot at Paris Fashion Week.
