Oskido And Glen #LegendLives Raises Over 26K

Legends are working towards helping those in needs

The latest edition of DJ Oskido's #LegendLive show, in partnership with Care Corona has raised R26 515.

The latest streaming session featured legendary DJ, Glen Lewis and the two DJs joined forces to raises funds for the eThekwini Covid-19 Fund.

Streamed live on Facebook and Youtube, the legendary DJ in the past weeks has been joined by deep house DJ Vinny Da Vinci, Major League DJs, DJ Sumbody, Virgo Deep, and DJ Fresh.

The project had previously managed to raise R89,567.

Oskido took to social media to thank his fans for tuning into #LegendsLive streaming and announced how much was raised and asked for his fans to continue supporting the initiative.

"Thank you for tuning into #LegendLive streaming, we have managed to raise R26 515 in this session. Let's continue to support the cause of helping those in need," shared Oskido.

Oskido is not the only celebrity who has used his name to assist in raising funds to help fight the coronavirus outbreak in the country. Award-winning DJ, Black Coffee managed to raise over R90 000 through his free streaming live concert, called Home Brewed 001.

Laduma Ngxokolo and Nelson Makamo,
collaborated on a tapestry piece for the first time ever to raise funds to donate to several local businesses in need.

The piece was auctioned by Save A Business and was sold at R670,000.
