Thabsie's Heritage Day Marriage commemoration was beautiful

What better weekend for a Xhosa-meets-Zulu themed wedding than the Heritage Day weekend?

She's been called many things; SA's Aaliyah, the Ngiyazifela Ngawe singer... but as of this weekend, she can officially call herself Mrs. Vokwana.

The songstress has been officially married for a while, as she confirmed in a past interview with the ZAlebs team but they had decided to wait a while before hosting the official ceremony they held this past weekend. 

Bathabise "Thabsie" Biyela and Thando Vokwana held an intimate ceremony at an undisclosed location for 100 guests according to Times Live

"We wanted to honour where we come from, so even though we could have had the wedding in Jo'burg we took it home. I am so excited for everything that is coming our way... having the wedding celebration has made our union all the more special," she told the publication.
