Whether they're based overseas or right here at home, we all have Insta goals. You know, those people who are so dedicated to their feeds that you know what they're all about the minute you open their profiles?
This week, the focus is on Insta fashionistas.
1. Sivuyile Madikana
This doctor and former GQ Best Dressed Top 10 man finds time to offer some OOTD inspiration in between saving lives and educating the masses on health.
2. Desire Marea
The most daring of the bunch, Desire breaks the mould when it comes to what is acceptable, opting instead for what feels right. And who wouldn't, have you seen how gorgeous Desire's ensemble's are?
3. Prime Obsession (aka Shelley Mokoena and Keneilwe Mothoa)
These best friends met while they were students at UJ and when they're not running their Newtown based store or decorating some or other beautiful space, they can be found enjoying each other's company and sipping on something cool at some of Joburg's coolest events.
Their interior design background means that this duo is all about the aesthetic, never leaving anything to chance, their looks are as meticulously planned as their photos.
4. Gemaén Jordan Taylor
Your faves fave (really, most of your faves love Gemaén), this stylista opts for a more accessible look. The outfits he puts together are the kinds of outfits you could recreate on your own if you're a savvy shopper who knows just where to find the right items.
5. Leroy Marc
When he's not hanging out with Dineo Moeketsi, this attorney dabbles as a radio DJ and BET A-List correspondent.
6. Siya Beyile
The founder of The Threaded Man is one of SA's most prominent fashion bloggers. So much so that he has been appointed styling director for two of SA's most prestigious awards shows - the most recent one being the 2017 SAFTAs. What we like about Beyile is that even though he's killing it, the ensembles he puts together still remain obtainable for the everyday man who might want to recreate one of his looks.
7. Tshepang Mollison
The definition of an it-girl... Even though Twiggy is more of an influencer than a fashionista, we regularly find inspiration on her blog.
8. Trevor Stuurman
The next prince of prints (after Chu Suwannapha that is), Trevor's aesthetic is for the daring. When he's not serving OOTD looks, he's showcasing Africa through his photography, proving why he took home the 2012 Elle Style reporter crown and has been improving in leaps and bounds ever since.
One of the many highlights of being in Kenya was today's sharing session. We hosted a content connoisseuring and fashion story telling session with young Kenyan designers. @ldjlaurie a well sought after fashion director and exec producer of New York Fashion Week was also in the building and shared some words of wisdoms: "Don't loose your point of difference. Take advantage of who You are " I will cherish these words forever. A special thanks to @dianaopotipr for the empowering platform and The Tribe Hotel for the beautiful space. Asante. Asante. Asante. #stuurmanstylediary #YoungDesignersKE
9. Sarah Langa McKay
Although Mrs. McKay's ideals can often be problematic, her sense of style is not. Which is why we prefer following her on Instagram and not Twitter.
10. Pamela Madlala
Where has Pam been all our lives?! Whether she's keeping it casual, serving understated effortless slayage or serving absolute glamour, Pam rocks any outfit as easily as she rocks any hairstyle.
A quick scroll through her feed will prove why we saved the best for last.
