The video shows Parow and Nonku doing a series of menial jobs including stints as a bricklayer, a mechanic and a shop assistant. It repeats the refrain, "this is an ode to all the working class heroes"
Parow spoke about his motivation for making the video, saying: "I also come from working horrible jobs I hated, and when you are stuck in those jobs you always feel like you will never get out of them and it always feels so draining and difficult, so that's why it’s an ode to the people who do those jobs, because without them this whole country would fall apart."
The video, which was filmed, directed and edited by Paul Ward, features real "working class heroes" rather than actors; and the response has been overwhelmingly positive so far.
Parow also had a series of 'making of' videos in which he interviews the workers who were featured in the video.
