Was Malaika's Tshedi Mholo shading Goapele?

Yikes, she may look docile but Tshedi knows how to throw shade

Was Tshedi Mholo shading Goapele?

Stuff like this is bound to happen whenever someone does a cover of someone else's song but we never expected this from Malaika's Tshedi Moholo.

Taking to twitter a few days ago to promote a show that she had coming up, Mholo let it be known that nobody sings 'Destiny' better than she does.

The tweet was in reference to the 2003 hit, Destiny, which she sang lead vocals on during her time with the group, Malaika.

The song has since been sampled and remixed by Cassper Nyovest for a song by the same name, featuring Goapele on his 2017 album, Thuto

As usual, the Twitter streets were ready and waiting with their "savage responses"

Not all the responses were clapbacks though. There are still tweeps who try to practice diplomacy.
