Africa's number one DJ, Dj Zinhle had a reality show on SABC 1 called It Takes A Village. The show was aimed at making a difference in the lives of young women in South Africa starting in her hometown Dannhauser in KZN. The township has been plagued by social issues such as unemployment, alcohol and drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and crime. Each week DJ Zinhle, together with a friend and life coach Nokubonga Mbatha took each of the 11 girls selected to be part of the show through a series of challenges that helped them face and address their respective personal and social problem.

Youtube sensation Lasizwe Dambuza who rose to fame through vlogging on YouTube has a reality show on MTV called @Lasizwe Fake It till You Make It. The show has become a hit due to his flamboyant lifestyle and hilarious ways of entertaining fans.
5. Shauwn Mkhize.
Kwamamkhize follows the life of opulent Durban-based entrepreneur Shauwn Mkhize and her children Andile and fitness bunny Sbahle Mpisane. Kwamakhize give viewers a glimpse into their wealth, controversy and how Shauwn reclaims her life back after divorce. The show has been on our small screens for a couple of weeks but Mzansi is loving it already!!

It wouldn't be a full list without Somizi Mhlongo's Living The Dream show. The reality show follows the flamboyant entertainer as he gives us a front-row seat into his personal life and the charismatic characters that influence his fast-paced lifestyle.
7 Boity Thulo.
The star recently scored her new reality show on BET Africa, "Boity: Own Your Throne". The show is centred around her and the moves she is making in the entertainment industry, as well as her relationship with her mother and friends. The rapper has been receiving praises for her show which made its debut this month.
8. Zodwa Wabantu.
The dancer, socialite and MC who is famously known for her dance moves and revealing outfits also has a reality show on Moja Love Zodwa Uncensored. The reality TV star and entertainer takes viewers into her daily life and how she juggles work, family and her love life.
9. Dineo Ranaka
TV presenter Dineo Ranaka and her family give us a glimpse into their lively and animated family goals. The show has been hailed for being authentic and relatable.
10 Have Faith.
Controversial influencer Faith Nketsi pushed the boundaries beyond her Instagram fame and twerking career when she launched her show, Have Faith. The show is centred around Faith and her friends.
