It's great when our stars take steps towards alleviating unemployment in SA. AKA's taking a page out of Sho Madjozi's page and is giving the youth a chance.
The rapper took to the Twitter streets to tell people about the #TouchMyBloodChallenge. As he's on the cusp of finishing his last album he needs album artwork for it. Instead of doing everything in house he went to Twitter to announce that he's giving budding designers a chance to get a crack at it.
Great ... now that that's out the way. I have an idea for The Megacy ... it's time for me to do the #TouchMyBlood artwork, and I want YOU to design it.— AKA (@akaworldwide) April 20, 2018
Next week I will be uploading a link where designers/artists can download the open file from the shoot I'm doing for my artwork. I will also include a brief where I will include references for what I'm looking for ...— AKA (@akaworldwide) April 20, 2018
But there's gonna be one catch. The said designers will be going up against AKA's Beam Design team.
The catch is ... you will be going up against my own Beam design team. If you can beat them ... you can join them. One year internship at Beam Group. What you think about that?— AKA (@akaworldwide) April 20, 2018
And the reward will be a one year internship at the Beam Design group. Stakes are high. But the rewards are higher. So if you know a designer, hit them up. This might be their ticket to the big time.
