One actor who can sure be thankful for his height is Alfred Ntombela, whom you might know from many of Leon Schuster's movies.
In an interview with Move Magazine, the 45-year-old actor explains that it was his height that got him all those characters in various Leon Schuster movies. He began acting when he was seven-years-old.
He explained that Leon Schuster was always looking for teenagers to act in his movies and that most of his roles required seven-year-olds.
"I wanted an opportunity to act, but I was afraid that no one would let me explore my talent because of my height. But when I met Leon Schuster, he was always looking for teenagers for some roles and I was given an opportunity to act because of my height."
He also informed the publication that because of his height and his ability to read scripts, most roles he did were those of 7-year-olds as children of that age could not read scripts as yet.
"I got the chance to act because I could read scripts by then. My height helped me with my acting job." Says the actor.
Don't you just wish you had Alfred's luck of getting roles because of your height? After all we all know how difficult it is to get into the acting industry these days.
