Basetsana Kumalo - The Queen of Parties

Four years ago, Basetsana Kumalo gave birth to her third child, Bontle ba Morena Jasmine Kumalo, at the age of 40 and in celebration of her daughter's birthday, the media mogul poured her heart out about the struggles that she went through prior to getting the gift of life.

The risks of pregnancy complications increase after the age of 35, and for Basetsana, she experienced multiple miscarriages before birthing her third baby girl.

"Four years ago on this day, I gave birth to the healer of my soul...I never found out if you were a boy or a girl, all that mattered is that I was bestowed the blessing of carrying life, and my prayer was that you would be healthy. After multiple miscarriages over the years, you were the restoration of my being." she wrote in a recent Instagram post.

After going through the most traumatic experience a mother could ever face, Basetsana is grateful to have been blessed with yet another baby, she went on to gush over her beauty and being:

"Bontle Ba Morena, I know what God’s beauty looks like because you are an epitome of exactly that. I look into your face and I know just how much I am loved that the Lord would Divinely ordain me to be your mother and chose me to birth you. Wow, how highly favoured I am!!! Oftentimes I pinch myself that this daughter is mine, one who is present, kind, VERY funny, witty, loud, confident expressive, enquiring, curious, so loving and oh so beautiful. You're beautiful mama's girl and such a girly girl! You my treasure, may your steps be ordered by the Lord, know that you are the head and not the tail, you are above and not beneath, you are blessed going in and coming out, go forth and be a world shaker and a history maker. May you live long, happy, healthy and strong on earth my sweet Jasmine. May goodness and mercy follow you all the days of your life. You my baby girl, make my heart sing. I love you to the moon and back and twice over.❤ (Playing dress up with you is such fun, you were exactly a year old in this pic)"
