If there was ever a romance that shook the South African entertainment industry, it is definitely the one between Bonang Matheba and AKA. The pair started dating a couple of years ago, and according to various sources, their relationship reportedly began when DJ Zinhle was expecting her first child with AKA.
Although the couple had a rocky start, their relationship seemed genuine and a lot of people were rooting for them but unfortunately, the pair broke up and Bonang is opening up about how she got over the heartache. In the new season of her reality show, Being Bonang, the media personality said that she cried for days after her split with AKA, “let me tell you how I got over my breakup, I used to cry & cry for days, I locked myself up for days and I eventually got over it.” she said.
Bonang then went on to say that she feels like a free woman and that her new-found freedom is refreshing, “I can go anywhere in the world without checking in with anyone,”
