Musician Bucie Nkomo might be one of the most celebrated vocalists in mzanzi, but after spending most of her life in the limelight, she took a break to pursue something that was more dear to her heart, starting and taking care of her family, however, this part of her life hasn’t been easy.
Speaking to DJ Fresh in a recent interview Bucie shared that as much as she had experienced complications with her firstborn son at 18 years of age, even more, complications piled up in her second pregnancy.
“My firstborn son, which I had at 18, there was complications...my second, Aphiwe, I had him at six and a half months. He was premature.”
Bucie went on to add that her baby and herself could've died had they kept him in the womb any longer.
“There were complications to the point where doctors thought that if they kept him still, cause my water broke very early so they tried to buy 30 or 31 weeks - if he stayed in the tummy for another day we were both going to die, or one of us wouldn’t, take it. So he is a miracle."
If you follow Bucie on social media you'd know that she is a true family woman and enjoys spending time with her kids, Bucie said that she always has a hard time leaving her family for work
“...it’s just something that needs to be done sometimes so that you make sure that they are taken care off but it never gets easy at all, I’d rather be at home and always kissing his chubby cheeks.”
