It was first detected in Nigeria, shortly after, the actress Buhle Samuels took to social media to pray for the virus to not spread and give Africa a rest.

“Scary Times we are living in! Traveling anywhere right now isn’t ideal! Praying for everyone affected and praying this thing doesn’t spread further because God knows how we already have enough issues in Africa! #Coronvirus,” she tweeted.
Buhle is not the only celeb to voice out their concerns on the Coronavirus. Cassper Nyovest questioned the governments’ decision to send masks to Italy, amidst South Africa’s first confirmed case of the virus.
Lasizwe decided to add some humour to the whole scare, just like Mzansi initiated the #CoronaVirusChallenge. Even though for some people, the challenge along with the comedians’ skit was a bit insensitive, looking at how deadly the virus is.
