When Mzansi Magic's hit reality show, Uthando Nesthembu graced our television screens, many women could not help but envision themselves being a potential addition to the Mseleku family.
Well, now the popular polygamist is profiting off of his fame in a new way. He has put together a candlelit dinner where women pay an amount of R5,000 each to wine and dine with Musa Mseleku. The event organiser, Sihle Seleke, told IOL that the event was not a set up for Musa to pick an additional wife, but an opportunity for women to fulfill their wishes of interacting with him as he usually gets inundated with scores of romantic requests from women.
Staunch viewers of the show have surely not missed the numerous times that Musa dwindled the heart-wrenching idea of the addition of a fifth wife to the family. This move did not sit well with existing four wives, namely, Busisiwe MaCele, Nokukhanya MaYeni, Thobile MaKhumalo and lastly Mbali MaNgwabe.
In one of the recent episodes, MaYeni was quoted as saying:
"There won't be any fifth wife. Even if she births 100 sons for you (Musa), I won't like her." She then proceeded to ask: ''So four wives are not enough for you? " Musa responded by stating that, his goal is to have 20 children, therefore the new wife would assist in that regard.
More details on the event, the publication established the following from Sihle:
“It’s not an event where he is going to choose number 5. It's not like Bachelor SA. He will only dine with these women. This rare opportunity might become a reality to some".
According to the article, the R5,000 will be inclusive of the dinner, venue and Musa's appearance fee.
Regarding the dinner, Musa briefly stated the following:
“I never thought it would happen".definitely (I) will be there and we will have a beautiful night,”
Upon thoroughly reading the pamphlet, one somehow gets the feeling that there is more to this dinner than meets the eye, hence the headline, "In Pursuit of wife no.5".
Lucky is the woman who will not be sorry for forking out a whole R5,000, just to meet the hunky Musa Mseleku.
