It is alleged that the woes at Ambitiouz Entertainment are not over; following Emtee's departure from the label.
When Emtee announced that he was leaving, fans congratulated him and now, with the rumours of Sjava's exit, they are even more excited.
A common issue that artists seem to have at the label, is that of growth and freedom. They have stated, on different occasions, that they are denied the freedom to collaborate with whichever artists they wish to work with outside the company; thus making it hard for them to spread their wings and explore musically.
In July Zalebs also reported on the battle between LaSauce and AE; where she cried foul regarding the state of her finances.
According to SAHipHopMag, Sjava has also expressed unhappiness; clarifying that he is bound by contractual agreement to drop two albums with Ambitiouz before he leaves.
Sjava, in a tweet he has since deleted, wrote about the difficulties of being in the industry. He stated that it looks easy when on the outside, but the truth of the matter is that it is hard and that is why some artists commit suicide.
The tweet read as follows: "It’s hard being an artist yiko abanye abaningi bezibulala people see izinto zenzeka from ngaphandle bacabange ukuthi sijabulile sithwele kanzima sekuyiko nje ukuhlala ethembeni and hope for the better kodwa eqinisweni akumnandi.”
A fan has also shared another tweet by the musician, which he also deleted.
