According to the Daily Sun, Nomuzi is refusing to accept that Thomas has fallen for Nomzamo, with whom he apparently attended an event in Jozi a few weeks ago.
Insiders say that 21-year-old Nomuzi is furious with Nomzama, who was said to have left ex-boyfriend and ‘Idols’ winner Khaya Mthethwa completely heartbroken earlier this year, when he ended their relationship after she allegedly cheated on him with a prominent actor.
“The whole thing is a hullabaloo as Nomuzi told us that she wants to bliksem Nomzamo for having a thing for Thomas,” an insider told the publication.
“Nomuzi is always crying as she believes Thomas is really unfair to her. She told us she would never let Nomzamo have Thomas. It’s a crazy situation as we believe Nomuzi will moer Nomzamo when they meet. She said no one will ever take him away from her. It’s a crazy situation,” claimed another.
Thomas has reportedly told Nomuzi that he’s found love elsewhere and that she needs to forget about it and move on, but she’s apparently having none of it.
When approached by the publication, both Thomas and Nomzamo refused to comment.
In his capacity as an actor, Thomas Gumede is known for playing Siphiwe in the SABC1 drama series A Place Called Home and for his Single Guys character of over-emotional "Zanele," a guy with a girl’s name who’s wildly romantic and highly neurotic.
