Black Coffee is on another level.
The DJ, who enjoyed a successful international tour, has already been booked for 2016’s Coachella Music Festival in the United States. The musician revealed this on Bonang Matheba’s The Front Row show on Metro FM on Friday.
Speaking about his international tour, he said: “Everything has been amazing. The tour was great. I have a baby to prove it. We got a baby while we were away. For me, that was the highlight besides work, on the personal level. We did so much work. I’m overwhelmed, man…”
The DJ, who recently released his Pieces of Me album, told Bonang that he’s proud of his latest project. He described it as a “Black Coffee sound”.
He added: “I think most musicians or artists they will always go for that saying, that ‘no, this one is different’. For me, I don’t know. I have a fanbase that love what I do and it’s a fanbase that grows with me, that’s what I love… I’m not gonna say it’s different, I’m just gonna say it’s a grown up me.”
