To their disappointment, this week's episode wasn't as entertaining as the previous episodes.
The show was borderline lukewarm and continued to drop down the trending ladder.
However, before it dropped down the trending ladder, viewers got the opportunity to be introduced to a young chef by the name of Sphephelo Zulu.
Spephelo has been single for a few months but has since decided to get back into the dating scene again.
The first family Sphe met was Penny's family, and let's say their first impression of him was disappointing, and we understand why.
Sphe, who is an ok looking guy rocked up at Penny's home wearing nothing but a grey t-shirt, a jean and some sneakers.
And just when we thought things couldn't get worst, Sphe mentioned some snarky comment about Penny's name, not liking that Penny has a child and throwing shade at one of Penny's dark-skinned friends.
By date number two, we thought Sphe was going to improve on his dress sense, but nope, the guy just came through wearing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt with dirty palladium boots.
It was painful to watch as every family expressed how he played himself for not looking presentable.
However, he redeemed himself when he went on the official date with Thando.
He cleaned up a bit by wearing formal shoes and a golf t-shirt, and for that, we'll give him an E for Effort.
Although some people believe who could've tried harder.
So if you plan on going to Date My Family, please ensure you've got proper outfits to impress the family. First impressions are always important.
