Do you think Somizi would try this colourful trend?

Somizi had a great year

We all love Somizi! Beyond his exuberant and evocative personality, the Idols judge has a style to match. He takes risks, and it’s for that reason that he naturally becomes the star to watch on any red carpet, but it’s also for this reason we thought he might be the one local celebrity who would go for this!

Pundits are punting a new colour-changing hair dye as the next big thing in beauty! Yes, you heard right! It’s a hair-dye, and it changes colour once applied, depending on your mood and your surroundings. The dye is created using a chemical formula, and molecules in the dye that react to changes in temperature. So, if you blush, if you get angry, feel sick or the weather changes, so does your colour. Sound like some form of witchcraft? Take a look at this video, where the model’s hair changes colour as the temperature in the room switches. And, in case you are a curious science boffin, maybe read this article on WIRED.com about how exactly this hair dye works, and it’s creator Lauren Bowker, of a company called The Unseen.
