SABC Choir, as well as Imbizo choir, which Mandoza's wife Mpho is part of perfomed at the service.

Mpho's father, Mr Mphuthi thanked the Tshabalala family for giving them a son (Mandoza) and said "today I am wearing the very same suit I wore at Mpho and Mandoza's wedding"

In a calm manner, Mandoza's son, Tokollo  spoke of his father's fashion sense, how he influenced his father when it comes to looking the part.

Mandoza's wife, Mpho said "I'll start by thanking God that he gave me such an amazing husband, an amazing father. I'll always cherish the times I had with him. Even though the first day I met him I was like "oh my gosh, this thug...what does he want from me?" but, 18 years later, I still love him, I'll love him until I die."

Mpho shared the news about the last Saturday she spent with Mandoza. "He could not eat the whole day. People from different churches would come from all over and we prayed and prayed. he didn't eat the whole day. On Saturday night we didn't sleep because his soul was still with us, the only thing that was gone was his body, of which God borrowed us.

So you could see his fighting, he didn't sleep all night, until early hours of the morning when we finally slept, he woke up and asked me for the time. I told him its quarter past five and he said "Happy Birthday".

I'll give you a present today, but money won't be able to buy it, I'm going to fight...I'm going to fight this battle, this sickness". He wanted to fight, but God wanted him because he saw something amazing, there was something missing in heaven, he needed his angel. Right now he is there, looking at us.

Mduduzi (Mandoza) Tshabalala leaves behind his wife (Mpho) four kids, Tokollo, Thapelo, Tumelo and Karabo.

Mandoza will be laid to rest at West Park cemetery.
