Speedsta

Lesego Nkaiseng, or as he's come to be more popularly known DJ Speedsta has been in the game for a young minute now and has created some concrete proof that he's here to stay.

You don't have to take our word for it, you can just go through just 5 songs which have impacted local hip-hop to see how far his hustle has pushed him.

1. Mayo (Ft. Tellaman, Shane Eagle, Yung Swiss and Frank Casino)

Posse cuts are becoming a thing of the past these days, so when this one came out it was cause for some celebration. Little did we know that this song would light up the Jozi streets the way that it did. It became the anthem of many an aspiring young person. Also helped that it consisted of them up-and-coming artists Shane Eagle , Frank Casino, Tellaman and Yung Swiss.

2. I Don't Know (Ft. J Molley, Frank Casino, Zoocci Coke Dope)

Staying true to giving crowd pleasers this joints been getting wild receptions from all types of crowds whether you're at Major League Gardens or at One Source Live. It didn't stray away from the target matter aimed at the youth and stuck to the theme of putting the young ones on.

3. Vicky (Ft. Jay Claude, Stogie T)

Of course there has to be a song dedicated to the ladies. This one is on some old man steez hence there being Stogie T. The 90's R&B sample adds on to Jay Claude's vibe and makes this one an undercover bop.

4. DJ Speedsta & Moozlie - Don't Panic

At its peak Cashtime Life had all corners of the game covered. *moment of silence* Anyway, Moozlie and Speedsta move the vibes from the JHB streets down to the coast. People were being weird, talking about the bars weren't written by her but come on.

Don't panic

5. Special Somebody (Ft. Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rick and Anatii)

In the early days pre-Cassper with the beard and endorsements there was just good old fashioned fun. This song was exactly that. A good time. Hence this one got into the people's good books. It's dope.

It's crazy to see how much the young brother has achieved thus far. As we celebrate his 26th birthday we're readying ourselves for more anthems which are going to rep the youth of South Africa. Happy birthday Speedsta. Stay killin' em son.
