#IssaTwar – Afro Worldview’s Flo Letoaba vs. Moja Love’s Dr. Tlaleng

After what has been dubbed a badly planned and horribly conducted interview on DSTV news channel, Afroworld View this past week, news anchor, Flo Letoba and doctor/reproductive health activist, Dr. Tlaleng Mofokeng have been at each other’s throats on Twitter. 

Based on their exchange, it seems as though Dr. Tlaleng (as she has become popularly known on Twitter) had agreed to appear in a segment for the news channel in which she would be interviewed by Letoaba and her co-anchor, Richard Nta. 

Letoaba, however, claims to have been sick and could therefore not be part of the interview. Despite that, she took to the timeline to condemn Dr. T’s behaviour, citing a story told to her by the show’s make up team. 

Dr. Tlaleng also took to her own timeline to call Nta’s behaviour into question in addition to sharing observations made by other people who had watched the interview, including the likes of Mmabatho Montsho.
