The part-time singer and full-time nurse made the revelation to The Daily Sun when she claimed she had joined two agencies in a bid to break into the TV industry.
And that is what she's done, as we can expect to see her on our favourite soap operas real soon!
Skolopad - real name Nonhlanla Qwabe - is excited to be venturing into new territory and learning new skills like acting.
“When I perform as a brand, people will not tell me during a performance that what I was doing was not the fight thing,” she told The Daily Sun.
“With acting, directors stop you immediately and you have to act again. There is more perfection in acting than when I perform on my own."
Skolopad teased details of her soapie appearances, which will air in the next few weeks.
“I have not been given a name on Isidingo yet and I’m just known as the landlady. I also took a part as a guest actress in The Queen and I enjoyed the roles. I promise my fans I will not disappoint them,” she continued.
Back in May, Skolopad previously made an appearance on Generations: The Legacy as an extra.
Skolopad has also posted screenshots of her upcoming appearances on The Queen, of which she appears in the same scene as Harriet Khoza (played by veteran actress Connie Ferguson).
Skolopad said; “Being with her in the same room it was a dream...THANX #THEQUEEN FOR GIVING ME THE CHANCE just to pass nje it's big”
We can't wait to watch!
