Actress, Gail Mabalane has been serving short hair goals since her TV debut in 2010 on Idols. We couldn't help but notice this natural beauty after she made it to the top 14 round of the competition.

She can weave it up, braid it u, curl it up or even perm it but her short hair is our favorite look on her. Former L'Oreal ambassador Gail Mabalane's short hair is hard to miss. Together with her natural beauty and bikini bod,  it's almost impossible to miss her when she walks into a room. Maintaining the Halle Berry hair look that Gail does is a lot of work. Styling every morning, relaxing often and keeping it as rich and healthy like she does obviously means she has a team who helps her maintain it.

So when she weaves it up she often adds a little colour and goes bold. Look at her as a red head girl.

So like even on those bad hair days that force most women to wear head wraps, Gail still looks better than some of us.

The perm or dry curl as we know her makes her look like Connie Ferguson. Her hair is so rich which is good for a dry curl because it gives it more flair, volume and a bounce.

Sometimes to protect our natural hair, we wear weaves to give our hair a chance to grow because hair grows better when it's covered.

As good as she looks in each and every one of these hairstyles, this is the Gail Mabalane we know. This is her signature look and honestly, we prefer her this way. In addition to her looking good, a little fresh air never hurt anybody.  If you've had a weave or braids before, then you know how hot it can get under there.
