Despite all the drama unfolding in his personal life, AKA still considers this a great year.
The last couple of weeks have been rough as he and DJ Zinhle broke up and there was also that alleged cheating scandal involving Bonang Matheba. But in the midst of it all, AKA still manages to win in his music. The Levels hitmaker has received a nod for the Best African Act at the MOBO Awards. These are annual awards held in the United Kingdom to recognise artists of any ethnicity or nationality performing black music.
All eyes are on AKA right now and fans are looking forward to his exclusive interview with Sizwe Dhlomo on MTV Base on Friday, 2 October. In the tell-all, the rapper will set the record straight about DJ Zinhle, his beef with Cassper Nyovest, and about Bonang.
