In Pictures: Thuli Phongolo's birthday vacay

Is it just us or is Thuli Phongolo growing up quickly? The former Generations: The Legacy actress celebrated her birthday 25th birthday on 22 January, and she went big (well, sort of).

Taking to her Instagram page, she shared some snaps from her safari birthday getaway.

Thuli has come a long way from her days as Namhla. The media personality was thrust into superstardom when she appeared on one of SABC 1's biggest soapies. Although she has left the show, she is still in one of South Africa's most followed rising stars, and many people are interested in her private life which she keeps out of the spotlight.

In 2018, the rumour mill went on over drive after Thuli and Black Motion's, Bongz were supposedly at the same resort at the same time, which promoted fans to assume that the pair is an item  – a claim which has never been confirmed.
