Earlier this year it was announced that our fave, Somizi Mhlongo, would be jetting off to the U.S. of A to blaze the red carpet as the African correspondent ahead of the main show and come 26 September, we’ll get to see exactly what went down.
The special will be titled “United States of Somizi” and great news – it will air on MTV Base (DSTV channel 322) so those of you on DSTV compact will get to watch it!
In the special, we will get to see the likes of Love & Hip-Hop creator and executive producer Mona Scott and singer, dancer and Insta mommy Teyana Taylor get their dose of Mhlongo as her interviews them on the red carpet.
United States of Somizi will air MTV Base (DStv channel 322) on 26 September 2017 at 21:30 CAT.
