Jessica, who welcomed a child in 2018 with TK Dlamini, has been quietly making moves in 2019. After taking some much-deserved time to spend with her new family after giving birth in October, Jessica returned to our TV screens on Isibaya towards the end of January and her year has been in full swing since.
The excited actress took to social media to share the big news that she had joined the Volvo family when she said:
"You’re looking at the New @VolvoCar_SA ambassador... so excited to share this with you my loves. It’s a privilege to join this prestigious brand and family. Looking forward to sharing all my #VolvoMoments with you"
The move to Volvo makes sense for Jessica Nkosi, who now has to put the safety of her family above everything else. Luckily for her (and her baby Namisa), Volvo has been renowned as one of the safest mainstream car brands for a number of years -- even revealing that they plan to cap the top speeds of their cars at 180 kmph from 2020.
As well as being a safe car brand, Volvo appears to be determined on building the most good looking ambassadorial team that South Africa has ever seen. Along with the gorgeous Jessica Nkosi, Volvo recruited TV hearthrob, Thapelo Mokoena to their ranks earlier this year. Is it also coincidental that both celebs joined the Volvo team shortly after welcoming new babies in October 2018? (You can read about Thapelo's new addition to the Mokoena family here)
Is it just me or is there a trend developing here?
