Khanyi Mbau is comfortably occupying the big screens. Just when the audience had marveled at her performance on Leon Schuster's latest flick, Frank and Fearless, another film is set to keep us on the edge of us seats.
The media personality will be starring in a movie titled Red Room, which is set to hit the screens soon.
There's no doubt that Khanyi knows quite a lot about growth as she's also lent her producing skills on this stellar production. In case you've forgotten, his isn't the first time that the mother of one has cut her teeth in the medium of producing, as she currently executive produces SABC 3's The Scoop.
The star studded cast includes, Cici Twala, Nicholas ''NickSoul'' Nkuna, Pakamisa Zwedala and Francois Jacobs.
Speaking to Channel 24 about the movie, the entertainer said: "This is quite dark, it's about sexual abuse, it's about physical abuse, and it's a dark film. I mean, probably just the first 15 minutes of the film are the lightest part, the happiest part, then throughout the film it's just journey of survival."
The film is set to hit our cinemas in March this year.
