Last week, media personality Khanyi Mbau's boyfriend, Tebogo Lerole, shared an image of the star in a hospital bed along with well wishes but no word as to why she was there.
It has now been revealed that she was in hospital to prepare for her summer body.
"Went to get my summer body ready with Dr Mark Stienman. Summer is here and (I) need to look great," she in an interview with TshisaLive.
She was discharged this past weekend but chose not to stay in bed as she felt bad about the possibility of disappointing her cousin who got married three days ago. So she got dolled up, bandages and all and attended the wedding with her beau and her baby brother.
By Monday, Mbau claims to have been back in bed and heavily medicated but promises to reveal everything on tonight's episode of her entertainment show, The Scoop.
It can't possibly be THAT bas as she was pictured out and about two days ago. Hmm, we wonder what they "mystery sickness" could be...?
The Scoop airs on Wednesday nights at 9:00pm on SABC 3 (which is tonight), so don't forget to tune in.
