South African actress to star in teen wolf

Although she has been believed to be of South African descent because of her name, Mlambo was born in Zimbabwe and left the country in 2005 for an education in the United States.

The 29-year-old actress has since lived in New York, Spain, and South Africa but now resides in Los Angeles, California.

She got her start as an actress in the film 1997 film Kini & Adams as Bongi but it wasn't until 2012 that things kicked into high gear with her acting career.

She has since appeared in shows such as Mad Dogs, Strike Back, Homeland, Jamillah and Aladdin as well as films like Ladygrey, The Last Face, Back to School Mom, Detour, and Message from the King according to a Teen Wolf fan site.

Although she played a major role as Ishani Mfeke in dance flick 'Honey 3: Dare to Dance,' Sibongile's role as Eme on the popular U.S. series, Black Sails,  is her most notable role to date.

She also plays the role of a powerful mermaid named Donna in another supernatural U.S. series titled Sirens. Although her upcoming role on the MTV Series, Teen Wolf, comes as the show enters it's final 10 episodes, we have faith that she'll kill it in her role as Tamora Monroe.
