With the voice and presenting skills to die for, Zambian born Masechaba Ndlovu nee Lekalake has graced South African screens for more than a decade.

With her exquisite TV producing and radio hosting skills which she debuted in the early 2000's when she featured as a supporting actress on Generations before joining Backstage in 2003, Masechaba’s talent is hard to ignore.

The media personality has gone ahead to host several TV shows including SABC1’s Reliable Slamdown, I Love South Africa, The Big Debate as well as hosting an edition of the South African Film and Television Awards.

Looking at all these roles Masechaba has moulded herself into a pro when it comes to hosting gigs and today she slays in the radio game while hosting the Afternoon Drive Show on Metro FM with Mo Flava.

As young and ambitious as she is, Masechaba has never been one to shy away from challenging topics on radio creating a strong national brand for herself.

However, this bravery has often dragged her to the centre stage of controversial issues including the mixed reactions she received after confronting Babes Wodumo’s abuse allegations on- air as well as the backlash she received over her comments to Anatii during an interviewwhich she later apologised for.

So much for being a radio host, the job comes with its own ups and downs and sometimes our most loved radio or TV personalities can be found on the wrong side of the equation too.

Although she may have her fair share of critics, it remains a fact that the media personality is a boss in her own right who remains unapologetic of her talent as a broadcaster.

Masechaba has managed to bag several accolades to her name including the Liberty Radio Award for the Best Commercial Drive Show award as well as the South Africa Film and Video award nomination for the best talk show host category.

Such recognitions prove beyond reasonable doubt that Masechaba is doing something right which listeners across the country appreciate for the inspiration.

After all, is said and done, the 35-year-old also runs training and lecturing sessions through her Masechaba Media to empower young people in their career paths and with this she continues setting up herself as a role model that young talent can always look up to.
