Ambitiouz Entertainment's KLY is doing pretty well for himself. I don't know about you guys but I think that every chorus that he jumps on turns to magic. After losing all those artists last year, KLY might be the push Ambitiouz needs to get them back at the top of the game.
The hype around KLY's first mixtape, titled KLYMAX, as well as the reworked version, KLYMAX re-up got him the necessary attention and the up-and-comer is flourishing under his new label.
The trap soul artist - who draws influence from Drake and PND - is at the top of the anyone's feature list and we don't blame them. Whatever record he puts his voice on turns into gold.
His latest offering with DJ Maphorisa, Emtee and Patoranking called "SnapDatSh!t" and Major League's "Do Better" featuring Ricky Rick, Patoranking and himself are turning out to be some of the best work he's done thus far. The 22-year-old who's all about keeping love young doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon and says another banger is on the way.
Judging by his Instagram posts, another Ambitiouz Entertainment collaboration can be expected and it might just be the collaboration that his fans have been waiting for.
KLY has a very big advantage in the South African music industry because as much as trap soul is big in the States, it's still something that hasn't been done before in South Africa and if done correctly, he might get international recognition from the trap Gods themselves.
We're going to keep our eyes glued to the TV screens for his new projects and we have faith that he'll deliver nothing but bangers.
