2016 has definitely
been Mmatema’s year of excellence and there are no signs of stopping her.
Since
Mmatema’s musical career took off last year after entering Idols SA season 11, the singer has been on a roll.
After a
successful launch of her One-Woman Show which took place in July, Mmatema is
constantly being booked for numerous events across the country.

One of
Mmatema’s most prized achievements thus far is her two nominations for the
Mzansi Christian Awards.
Mmatema has
been nominated for two categories: Best New Comer and Best Female Personality.
After
losing the Idols SA title to Karabo Mogane
Many thought that Mmatema, like previous
Idols runner-ups, would disappear behind the scenes without a trace but the
gracious singer has proven us wrong.
Who would’ve thought that after a year of entering the competition Mmatema would be selling out shows countrywide and receiving award nominations.
On the other hand you have to attribute her success to her work ethic. If she’s
not performing, you can be assured that Mmatema is probably breaking a sweat and rehearsing extremely hard for her next sold out performance.
