Revealing the news to Move magazine in this week's issue, Mafokate said he was optimistic about the move to have Mzambiya under his record label 999.
He said the album is due to hit the shelves before the end of May.
Mafokate also revealed to the magazine that he is working with his former protegé Ishmael.
Following their successful release of 'Roba le Theka' song which sold 200 000 copies in 2001, fans can only expect to be blown away by Ishmael's new album 'I'm the Ish'.
"Ishmael is a big brand, a mega star who sold a lot of records. He loves what he does, so reuniting will be a win for both of us," said Mafokate.
