And she looked absolutely gorgeous as she attended her graduation held at the University of Cape Town.
In January a surprise celebration party was held in honor of the actresses great academic achievement.
We're three months down the line since the announcement of her obtaining her degree and the day has finally arrived for her graduation ceremony.
Since the day started Nomzamo has been sharing every moment of her special day, from the makeup sessions to her dressing up for the day.
One thing people couldn't stop talking about was Nomzamo's gorgeous dress which she recently opened up about on social media.
The dress wasn't just any design but one that was very close to her heart.
Nomzamo explained that the faces on the dress were of all the people in her life that had passed on, including her late sister & father.
Nomzamo continues to share why she put the faces of her loved ones on her graduation dress.
In her latest post this is what she had to say;
I wanted the pictures of my late baby sister, Carla, late older sister, Matu, my late father, Nicholas Nxumalo and the greatest love of my life, the woman who named me Nomzamo, my late grandmother, MamJoli. The many tragedies I had to survive.

I dropped out of university for financial reasons amongst many other things and it took me more time to finish this degree than the peers I started with. I was gutted. Going back to finish off the race was not easy. So to those who are still in it I say... OWN PACE. OWN RACE ✊🏽 Have COURAGE. Have RESILIENCE. you WILL OVERCOME.
Congratulations Nomzamo on yet another commendable achievement.
