Social media went crazy after finding that Black Panther Soundtrack - which was produced by Kendrick Lamar & his TDE crew- included some South African stars, and when fans saw Reason on the list, many assumed that it meant that it would be South African rapper Reason, however he took to social media to clear the air.
Reason took to social media expressing that he was not the artist listed on the tracklist saying that he is hurt and should have been the artist on the list and went on to congratulate the South African artist listed on the soundtrack, saying:"I'm still not sure what hurts more. Telling you guys that I'm in fact not the "Reason" on the black panther album...or the fact that there's another "Reason" out there on a project I SHOULD been on."
The tweet surely caught the attention of the artist (Reason) from Del Amo, as he responded apologising for the mix-up and acknowleging his work.
Both artists went on to congratulate each other for their contributions into the music industry
After doing some extensive research the Del Amo artist added that he was glad that his name was associated with Mzanzi's Reason.
