While some were in agreement with the poet and TV host's remarks, others labelled her 'bitter', 'shadey', 'racist'... the list goes on.
But it was a statement by Moja Love TV - a channel that Ntsiki is employed by- that caused an even bigger stir.
The statement read:
"The views expressed by Ntsiki Mazwai are not those of the channel and were expressly made by Ms Mazwai in her personal capacity. Moja Love values, loves and respects all South Africans and we celebrate all the diversity that enriches our country. We do not condone any form of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, religion, gender, race, culture or in any other form," further wishing Leanne a happy 15th work anniversary.
As you may already know, Ntsiki did not take that lying down.
In a video she posted on social media, she reiterated her remarks on Leanne Manas and also questioned the channel's statement. She questioned why the channel had never released statements when she attacked black people.
Again Twitter was divided, with some telling her that she is anti-women and needs to tone it down, while others said that they certainly relate.
