South African poet, musician and television host, Ntsiki Mazwai has gained notoriety for not mincing her words and those that have unfortunately been scratched by her claws, know just how deep she digs in.
Twitter was set ablaze after a daring move from Ntsiki as she went on a rant about Beyonce's relevancy in the world of music. These sort of moves are quite common in Ntsiki's world, as in previous instances, she has boldly taken jabs at a number of South African celebrities, including DJ Zinhle, Pearl Thusi, Fikile Mbalula and many more.
This time around, Ntsiki had her eyes on Beyonce. She basically questioned why Mrs Carter's talents are considered as golden status in the global entertainment industry.
There was another 'Queen B' that got dragged in this engagement on Twitter - Bonang Matheba. The multi talented star was accused of using Beyonce as some kind of a template, regarding all things aesthetics.
This isn't the first time that Ntsiki Mazwai has shown displeasure with Beyonce. Back in 2016 - whilst everyone was still on a high about Beyonce's sizzling performance at the Superbowl, Ntsiki bashed the Single Ladies hitmakers for assimilating her image with that of white people. At the time, she tweeted the following:
"I don't see Beyonce, because she emulates whites and it's called success... She is a sophisticated house nigga mos."
Recently, another local celebrity slammed Beyonce for her performance on a particular film. Actress and television presenter, Khanyi Mbau took to Twitter and stated that, Beyonce "messed up" her role as Nala in the soon to be released remake of the iconic Lion King.
Well, as Beyonce and Bonang always say - You know you're THAT b*tch when you cause all this conversation!
