The South African entertainment industry is big, but not big big enough to accommodate all of our celebrities, therefore, some of our stars have packed their bags and hit the road to start all over in another country.
Here are our ZAlebs that said goodbye to South Africa and hello to a new life and new people in another country:
Mandisa Nakana Taylor had us all dreaming of being a TV presenter at some point in our lives. She is now a wife and mother in UK.
Looks like the UK is the place of choice for many people, Sade Giliberti is flexing her presenting skills in the UK.
Our extended weekend looked something like this because we are both goofballs 😊 and today Mr is back to work and the babies and I are back to our normal daily schedule - for me that means doing mom things 💃 AND working on my business by helping other moms reach their specific health goals (expect a reply to your email today!) #momsgethealthy
The super talented Precious Kofi, now Schamel, left her inspiring career and started a new life in America with her husband with whom she has two kids with.
We remember Charity Sehlohole from her role on Yizo Yizo 1 and her role as Thandeka on Generations. We are glad to see you looking good Charity, but we miss you; please leave UK and come back home.
Now here are our ZAlebs that left Mzansi but came back because really now, there is no place like home:
Local is lekker singer Sharon Dee left her music career and moved to the UK with her then husband soccer star Peter Ndlovu. She came back home following her failed marriage to pursue gospel music. We haven't heard anything from her lately though, wherever she is, we hope she is doing well.
Who can forget Chichi Letswalo? her hazel eyes and her husky voice were everything. Chichi left South Africa in 2007 to pursue her studies in New York, she may have disappeared on our screen, but she has not left the country again.
Bonnie Mbuli moved to Los Angeles with Sisanda Henna after getting married to pursue fame and fortune, but unfortunately, that didn't work out quite as planned. Bonnie wrote a book following her divorce with Sisanda and she currently stays in Cape Town.
Pamela Nomvete (right) made popular by her role as Ntsiki on Generations went to the UK, did some theatre work and came back home becuae well..that's where she belongs.
Style Queen Noni Gasa moved to Italy to do her MBA studies and came back to Mzansi. The last time we checked she had a big position at Woolworths.
