The news of her allegedly getting fired from her job as host of e.tv's Sunrise ran amok when etv announced its new breakfast show this week.

The new breakfast show will replace Sunrise on the 7th of May and will be hosted by Tumi Mothotoane, Michaella Russel, Jason Goliath and Tino Chinyadi.

According to a series of tweets by TV with Thinus, Penny was suddenly dismissed without any warning.

"We are confident our viewers will thoroughly enjoy waking up to The Morning Show." says Marlon Davids, MD of e.tv
