Pop Bottles Goes Skiing

Feb 20, 2019, 11:51 AM

Just when we thought Pop Bottles could not top its party from two years ago which took party-goers to an exclusive trip to Mauritius, it has now been  confirmed that Pop Bottles Entertainment in association with Channel O is set to bring you the Pop Bottles Ski Festival – a first of its kind Hip-Hop mountain skiing festival.

ZAlebs had the chance to catch up with Pop Bottles founder - DJ Dimplez to find out more about this different yet interesting take on Pop Bottles 2019.

If you're clued up on how events work, we're quite sure that you know how much of a headache it is to organize an event, let alone an event in another country.

So we asked Dimplez how he and his team managed to handle all of the logistics of such an event and this is what he had to say;

"Logistically, we always try to be different as a brand; we're not trying to do the same parties, we're not trying to give people what they've had before. So a Skii festival, from the reactions of people you could see that they're excited as they've never done this before, so the logistics of this event is not an issue. We're always aiming to up our game when it comes to our Pop Bottles events."

DJ Dimplez also mentioned that they collaborated with a great partner for this festival.

"We're working with a ski resort called the AfriSki Mountain Resort which is quite high up in the mountains so it's definitely going to be a different experience for everybody."

We were also informed that people must not assume that they should only bring their winter clothes with, but bikini's and shorts should also be packed as attendees are about to experience one of the craziest events of 2019.

The event is set to take place from Friday, 7 June to Monday - 10 June.

Tickets for the Pop Bottles first ever ski festival are available on the event's website at www.popbottles.co.za

So start practicing your skiing skills guys, we don't want to catch you slipping on those Lesotho Mountains.
