Everyone with dreams of being in the entertainment industry has - at some point - dreamed of being a Top Billing presenter which is probably why SABC 3’s often-annual presenter searches always enjoy such a large turnout at auditions.
As the #PresenterSearchOn3 returns for a fourth time, we show you where the past winners ended up to show you what is at stake if you’re thinking of auditioning.
Lee won the 2012 My Top Billing Dream presenter search and has since ventured in to being an MC, actor and director/producer.
Earlier this year, he registered a production company with a name that was inspired by his late best friend, Simba Mhere. The company is called Half Man Half Amazing Productions, and prior to Mhere's death in 2015, the pair were planning on venturing into the business together.
He has since partnered with Siv Ngesi and the pair are set to release a few projects this year.
The adorable Zoe Brown won the search back in 2015 when she was 25 and has since appeared on our screens every morning on the channel’s Expresso Morning Show.
She’s the show’s resident DIY and fitness girl and she also hosts her own show on KFM.
Hubner, who won alongside Brown, is currently part of the Top Billing team and she is the show’s go-to-gal for any outdoor activity.
The actress, singer and model is also a fitness enthusiast and a quick scroll through her Instagram will have you making healthier choices after just one look.
Acquisto is the final part of the 2015 trio (which includes Hubner and Brown) and he currently co-hosts SABC 3’s Afternoon Express alongside Bonnie Mbuli and Jeannie D.
The former Hectic Nine-9 presenter is also the CEO of Special Effects Media South Africa and a radio presenter on Good Hope FM.
The actor, singer, model and dancer is the current host of Dancing With the Stars South Africa alongside Tracey Lange. He is also a part of the Top Billing team.
According to the Presenter Search website, the brand is “looking for brand ambassadors that embody the spirit of SABC 3 as a channel that [can] shine the spotlight on [the channel’s] progress and aspirations.”

How to enter:
Queues can get long so get there early! Past winner, Simba Mhere arrived the evening before and slept in his car just to ensure he could be first in line. Make sure to bring a head and shoulders photo of yourself.
At registration, you will be given a registration form to fill out and allocated an audition number. Keep your number, your photo and your form and wait your turn to audition.
What to prepare:
Ensure you bring the following to auditions: Water, sunscreen or an umbrella for shade.
Wear something that defines your style. Please avoid fine stripes and large brand logos.
Prepare a 10-15 second audition that introduces you to the judges and to the world. Explain who you are and woo the judges with something catchy, witty and interesting.
Although food and drinks will be available at the audition venues to purchase at your own cost, the production team suggests bringing something of your own just in case.
Each venue will provide free WIFI.
