Kaybee and Mthokozisi's Banomoya collabo

2019 is starting off on a good note for SA music.

We’re only a few days into the new year, but we’ve already seen some rather interesting moments within the music industry.

Firstly, we had Prince Kaybee and Busiswa relish in the victory of having their hit single, Banomoya, receive the title of Song of the Year.  Even though the song sparked a lot of debate (and even had tribalism rearing its ugly head), we can’t deny that having this song usher us into the new year made us believe that 2019 is going to be a great year for the music industry.

And just when we thought Banomoya couldn't cause any more havoc, Kaybee has come out to say that he does not plan to launch his new album unless he gets his hands on this Banomoya R&B cover performed by former Idols SA runner up, Mthokozisi.

Kaybee was so impressed with this rendition of Banomoya that he even requested to have Mthokozisi join him in studio so that they could make this cover as an intro to his album.

His prayers were answered the music producer and DJ finally got the chance to do something with the singer.

Geez! Come through with it 2019.
