A variety of classic favourites, alongside new premieres, will hit our screens offering various genres including reality, dramas, telenovelas and more.
Date My Family
Just when you thought that this season of Date My Family has reached it's end, Mzansi Magic has surprised and confirmed that season 7 of the show will debut on Sunday, 7 April with 31-year-old Mandla Radebe. Mandla, who describes himself as a people's person and an aspiring entrepreneur is looking for a lady who communicates well. Will he find the woman of his dreams? Well we hope so.
The Herd Season 2
The Mzansi Magic Sunday trailblazers will be incomplete without the premiere of The Herd Season 2. The new season picks up approximately seven months later and MaMngadi (Winne Ntshaba) doesn’t want to be a witch anymore. Will she continue her redemptive journey, or will she fall back to witchcraft?
The second season will offer viewers 13 thrilling episodes.
Undoubtedly one of the most anticipated drama shows on Mzansi Magic returns on the 8th of April for its fourth season. It is three months since the riot and Deborah (Pamela Nomvete) has clawed herself back to the top as Governor of the prison. She has placed a pissed-off-with-the-world Tyson (Lorcia Khumalo) in power, allowing her access to more contraband than the prison has ever seen. How long before the battle of wills commences?
What's even more exciting is that LockDown has added two actresses in the cast. Nthati Moshesh who will play the role of Nobantu and Natasha Thahane who is set to play the role of Katlego.
Nimrod Nkosi is once again helping people track their fathers and reuniting long last family members in season 7 of Utatakho set to premier on the 9th of April.
In the first episode, we meet Mabuyi Ntuli. Mabuyi grew up knowing her mother could have cheated with a man from the Ntuli family, a man who happens to share the same surname as the father of her children. Will she finally know where she belongs?
Papa Penny Ahee!
According to Mzansi Magic Papa Penny is back for what is easily the most emotional and intense season to date. Papa Penny Ahee! season 3 premieres Wednesday, 10 April and will include an international trip, progressive views on romance and a new “addition” to the family. Can't wait!
