The year 2018 has seen hip hop artists’ dropping their heartfelt musical projects. With the likes of AKA’s, Touch My Blood and Nasty C’s, Strings and Blings topping the charts and garnering enough hype to last a lifetime, given the various solid releases this year alone, the tide of hip hop has proven to be in good hands.
Lyrical genius, Reason, is seemingly left undecided; this is after the rapper posted a tweet whereby he was trying to gauge the anticipation of his long awaited album, Azania.
Would you be mad at me if I dropped #Azania next year?— #WuTang 🇿🇦 (@ReasonHD) October 15, 2018
Earlier this year, Reason blessed us with his inspirational record, Azania, of which he collaborated with seasoned jazz/opera musician, Sbongile Khumalo and renowned American producer, Swizz Beats on production. Reason’s staunch fans know that he always delivers, whether on a feature or a track of his own – Reason stays spitting these bars.
After posting on Twitter about the dilemma he finds himself in, regarding the release date of his much awaited album, these are the responses from the Tweeps.
