Curtis James Jackson III, affectionately known as 50 Cent, has just landed in hot water. This comes after his tweet from 2010 resurfaced on social media recently. This has to be the second most ignorant comment we've seen in 2018 (behind Donald Trump’s s***hole countries tweet).
The Power actor probably doesn’t speak any of South Africa’s vernacular languages, but someone needs to translate the phrase “Wathinta Abafazi, Wathint’imbokodo” for him because he doesn’t know the kinds of women he’s dealing with.
The once-upon-a-time rapper took to Twitter to vent about his love life and expressed his desires for the kind of woman he wants to date. Women from around the world wasted no time in pointing out what a careless and offensive tweet this was, including a few of our own women. For instance, local rapper, Rouge, expressed her disgust in a brief reply: While journalists and tweeps shared their two cents:
The best response came from journalist, Faith Daniels, who pointed out that his rand value is quite insignificant:
50 Cent clearly doesn’t know anything about women in third world countries but we dare him to come and make comments like these on our land.
