There is definitely no disputing that South African award winning musician, Sho Madjozi's career is on an impressive high. If she's not securing lucrative endorsements, then she's bound to continue slaying on the musical front across borders and in Mzansi.
Speaking of borders, the Huku hitmaker won the much coveted Viewers Choice Best New International Act Award at this year's BET awards held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles last night.
Sho Madjozi's win could easily be regarded as historical and iconic as she is the first South African female musician to scoop the top award.
Fellow South African celebrities also chimed in and congratulated Sho Madjozi on her epic win.
Numerous of our highly talented musicians have respectively secured nominations at the BET award over the years, including AKA, who was also nominated alongside Madjozi.
Quite recently, there's been a regular phrase that seems to be on almost everyone's lips - The time for Africa is now. And boy is it accurate! There has been other talented South African artists that have brought the award back home, including DJ Black Coffee and Sjava.
Congratulations to Sho Madjozi. It is great and empowering to witness such a talented musician represent both herself and SA in her own way.
